Rise and Shine Nepal

Our journey in Nepal began in 2020 when we joined forces with Rise and Shine Nepal, a ministry led by the remarkable Sabina Chamling. Sabina initiated this ministry several years ago with a deep passion for supporting single women who have tragically lost their husbands and are marginalized in society. In Nepal, these women, especially those with children, face immense social stigma and are often looked down upon. Having experienced this tragedy herself, Sabina, driven by her Christian faith, is dedicated to extending a helping hand to these women.

Nepal, being a persecuted Christian country, requires us to exercise caution in our endeavors and public expressions. However, through Sabina's established rapport with local officials, we have been able to forge ahead with our mission. Our goal is to expand our reach beyond our current location and make a lasting impact in other areas of Nepal.

Rise and Shine Nepal primarily focuses on equipping these single women with skills that empower them economically. We provide them with training in various income-generating activities such as soap making, sewing, tailoring, and vegetable gardening projects. By fostering self-sufficiency, we aim to break the cycle of dependency and enable these women to create a better future for themselves and their families.

But our support doesn't end there. We also provide housing, facilitate Biblical studies, and act as advocates for these women within the government. Our holistic approach ensures that we address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, enabling them to experience true transformation.
